CENTURY EGG album release show w/ SURROUNDED & selections from DJ SIVANI
Thursday September 16th 8-10 PM @ the Salt Yard Too Stage at 1600 Lower Water St
Sound freaks & noise nerds! We are *rings of saturn* excited to see you all IRL - the very idea of experiencing a live show with you makes us weepy.
BYO favourite outfit, best and worst dance moves, pals (or make new ones - safely and at a respectful distance), and exuberance (being too cool is over!).
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION:
The performances will be live-streamed
The stage is next to the parking lot and harbour hopper pick up location
The ground is flat asphalt with picnic tables and benches on site including one wheelchair accessible picnic table
All-gender private-stall washrooms (two are fully accessible) are available near the Salt Yard
Naloxone, water, earbuds, and hand sanitizer will be on site
COVID-19: We are requesting that attendees wear masks, practice social distancing and respect other people's space, and sanitize their hands
SPACE AGREEMENT:

Century Egg is a band of escape artists. On their latest release, the Halifax four-piece blaze through basement pop jams carefully crafted with the desires of the listener at the front of their minds. Coming hot off the heels of a series of EPs, Little Piece of Hair is the band's loudest, clearest mission statement to date. Boasting a new rhythm section of Matty Grace on Bass and Meg Yoshida on drums, Century Egg is a band reborn. Still present is the dance-punk bliss of previous Egg outings, only bolder and brighter. Century Egg makes music to remind you to be free.
Surrounded is an experimental music project combining improvisation, digital and acoustic sounds. In their first collaboration together, artists James Adeyemi (@jazzbomaye), Kelvin Mansaray (@n.i.v.l.e.k), and Marissa Sean Cruz (@riss_rat) look to the past, present and the sonic future.
