At our AGM on Sunday May 4th, 2025 at 6PM ADT over Zoom, we will be holding an election for new board members on a two-year term.
EVERYSEEKER presents contemporary music and sound in beautiful Kjipuktuk | Halifax, Nova Scotia. We approach curation with an open-minded, genre-fluid curiosity, responding to both local communities and international dialogues in underground and experimental sonics. We aim to create genuine spaces of listening, subversion and celebration that resist the pitfalls of the music industry.
EVERYSEEKER is looking to expand its Board Of Directors by bringing fresh faces and new ideas to the table. We are looking for individuals who show attention to detail, a willingness to ask questions, an enthusiasm for the organization, and who have sufficient time to fulfill the requirements of the position they take on, including attending board meetings (approx. 8 annually). Additional assets include: experience in grant writing, finances, public relations, and digital marketing. Board positions are two-year terms.
Joining the EVERYSEEKER Board of Directors is a great opportunity for artists or supporters of the arts living in Kjipuktuk (halifax). Board members play an active role in supporting EVERYSEEKER staff, artists, and community members in maintaining and developing the vision of our organization.

We encourage nominees to attend the AGM and introduce themselves during the election, but nominees that cannot make the AGM will still be considered during the election with the co-directors reading from this application form.
