Nectar Collective is queer DJ collective founded in Kjipuktuk (Halifax) by Anita Chastanet (Aniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiita), Annah-Lauren Bloom (DJ Decision), and Cher Hann (DJ Dumb Little Bitch). With the success of their seminal party 'Slurp,' Nectar has quickly established itself as a fixture in both the Halifax dance music scene and queer community alike. Nectar's mission is to bridge the gap between underground dance music and the LGBTQIA+ community in Halifax, creating dance floors by queer people for queer people. As DJs, Nectar strive to share exciting, hyper-charged and unexpected sounds, with a focus on experimental and underground sub-genres.
