zamzam club

zamzam club is the dj / sound art project of Shaya Ishaq (aka shyshaya), an interdisciplinary artist currently based between the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg people (Ottawa) and Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal). Coming from a creative force of femme legacies, zamzam club is is a storyteller who believes in the power of communal healing through dance. Weaving afrobeat, disco, early house, and techno, zamzam club holds space for sounds of the black + afro diaspora.
